Quick Movie Review: The Foot Fist Way (2006)
WARNING: TRAILER IS FOR ADULTS ONLY!!
The Foot Fist Way (2006)
Bottomline: This is all Danny McBride and crude humor all the time. You find yourself laughing and then feeling guilty about it.
Where Can I See It? It is available on DVD.
QMR Opinion:
This is not a good movie. It is a vehicle that showcases Danny McBride, who can be hilarious. The Foot Fist Way tells the story of a small town Tae Kwon Do instructor who believes he is the end all be all of martial artists and enjoys his standing as a big fish in a little pond. The humor comes in how serious he takes himself and, because of that, all of the craziness that ensues. There are moments in this movie where you will absolutely laugh out loud, but then there are other moments when they are going hard for the laugh and it falls flat. If you are a fan of Danny McBride and crude, rough humor, then you will like this movie. If not, then rent Tropic Thunder (2008) again.
