Here is my idea for a bailout plan in these tough economic times -- sit or stand in front of Wal-Mart and ask for money.

No big deal. Just stand there with a bucket and ask people exiting if they would like to give. No explanation necessary. If pressed, I mumble something about "missions" or "building fund."

If the Wal-Mart strategy doesn't work, then stand at the intersection near Brookwood Mall and approach vehicles waiting on the light to turn green.

Approach the vehicle with an earnest, but sincere look. Not overly eager though. The key is to have a bucket with a makeshift sign on it that says something about "missions" or the "building fund."

If rebuffed, look suitably disappointed but remember to convey forgiveness.
